Packing tips

  • ·

Pack one room at a time and never mix rooms in a single box.

  • ·

Label every box with the room name, brief contents, and a fragile flag if needed.

  • ·

Pack your bedroom last — you need access to clothing and bedding until the final day.

  • ·

Build your essentials kit separately and keep it with you on move day — not in the van.

Suggested Order

Start with rooms you use least: storage, office, and miscellaneous. Pack living spaces next. Leave bedroom and bathroom until last — you need daily access to clothing, bedding, and toiletries right up until move day.

The Essentials Kit

Set aside a bag with everything you need for the first 24–48 hours: phone charger, toiletries, a change of clothes, bedding, kettle, mugs, and medication. Pack it last and carry it yourself — not in the removal van.
